PC makers imitated the success of Apple's iPad, it is not difficult to find that people no longer talk about the netbook

According to market research firm, Gartner said in January last year, in October -12, PC makers sold 10.5 million units netbook. This figure maybe reach the market peak. Netbook sold 970 million units in the first quarter this yea, in the second quarter it declines to 840 million units, the next few months is expected that the number will continue to decline.

Netbooks typically have less powerful hardware than larger notebook computers. some do not have a hard drive but use SSD instead, as these require less power, and faster, lighter, and generally more shock-resistant. but with less storage capacity.

 

Before the official release of IPad, in January of this year people start to talkink about android tablet and Tablet PC industry. HP, Dell and Archos in the French CES show this year, touch-screen tablet PC display, but did not disclose more details, shipping date is also very vague. Obviously, the manufacturers of the netbook have shifted the attention of the target market.
